Casa Feliz's four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths provide adequately for 2, 3, and 4 individuals through small groups. Its expansive yet cozy living spaces on the first floor flow through three seating areas: a comfortable and generous salon for drinks and conversation; a gaming area with TV, VCR, telephone, books and games; a dining area for up to 10 guests. There is also a garden patio looking up to the San Miguel sky. The living spaces serve equally well as a cozy respite from busy sightseeing days and as an elegant place in which to entertain your guests. High-speed, wireless Internet access allows guests to keep up with correspondence and business. The large second story terrace is a delightful spot with shade in which to read and draw, or sun in which to bask, while the third level roof-top garden offers 360-degree views of the surrounding hills and a wonderfully relaxed spot from which to enjoy your evening Margarita. Considered one of the most charming private residences in San Miguel, Casa Feliz offers colonial cantera arches, traditional fireplaces, ecapali furnishings and a collection of Mexican art and artifacts that delight the eye while lending the building the authenticity appropriate to its historic location. One of the special features of the house is an original two-foot thick arch and stone wall built almost three hundred years ago. Paintings by several of San Miguel’s most distinguished artists grace the walls of Casa Feliz. The skilled and cheerful housekeeper, also an excellent cook, is highly treasured by the many visitors who have sampled from her vast repertoire of Mexican specialties. A local manager is readily available should there be any problems or sudden emergencies. Sightseeing tours and transportation from and to local airports can be arranged via a recommended agent.
